Founded in 1994, the Bulgarian Association Natural Gas (BANG) is made up of legal entities and individuals who are involved in developing the natural gas industry in Bulgaria. Our active work throughout the years has won us many new friends and members. Today we unite 30 companies and 8 individuals who are the face of the natural gas sector in the country...

History

The idea about the creation of our association emerged in the early 90s at a time, when Bulgaria was in a state of heavy economic crisis. Particularly dire was the situation in the energy sector, where the country was burdened by heavy expenses and was not utilizing effectively the energy resources of the country...

The newly issue paper jointly prepared by the ERRA Legal Regulation Working Group and KEMA International on Regulatory Independence examines the predominant features of independence of ERRA members respective regulatory bodies. It also identifies best practices based on international experience and provides recommendations for the ERRA members to operate and function independently.
